Role: JPMorgan Global Wealth Management Technology is looking for an experienced Application Developer to develop tools to address automation for the IFS Custodian Implementation for the Fiduciary space. The developer will be accountable for the development of quality and resilient software using continuous integration and testing methodologies. This will involve working closely with business analysts to understand operating models , business flows and data and then partner with the relevant application development teams and DBA / infrastructure and Operate as required to develop and test the application(s). The role will report into the Technical Lead for the GWM Fiduciary IFS Custodian Implementation project.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Partnering with the Trust and Estates International teams to understand functional and data requirements for a multiple business processes.
Software Development using either an iterative / agile methodologies or waterfall SDLC process.
Analyze and develop various aggregator data sources like positions, P&L and transactions and etc
Perform trouble-shooting for any issues that may arise in any of the environments.
Support production rollouts of the functionality on-site by partnering closely with the Operate team.
Hard Skills / Requirements:
5
years' experience with application development and design
Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical field with preferred focus on Computer Science or Information Systems.
Development experience and experience in architecting solutions using Workflow /BPMN Technologies like JBPM or Activiti would be advantageous
Key Differentiators for Ideal candidate:
Expert level knowledge of J2EE Application & Web framework development (Spring, ExtJs, Restful Services), Unix preferred.
Ability and inclination to learn & pick-up new tools & technologies quickly
Able to write oracle/sql queries and able to debug the application
Able to work on custodian reconcilation.
Should have experience in environments that deal with PI data(sensitive) and knowldege on Data Encyption and Data Masking.
Perform system and Data Analysis.
Software engineering and develpoment which supports Identity & Access Management
Building out Identity & Access Management platform capabilities primarily as a service.
Utilizing agile software development tools, techniques, and methodologies.
Work with our business patners to gather requirements, understand and document
Ensure that risks and issues are escalated and addressed in a timely manner.
Technologies Required: JavaEE; Maven; Spring; Hibernate UNIX ( Solaris / Linux) , Apache Tomact , Messaging (MQ Series , JMS) , Database= Oracle or Sql-server
Product knowledge
Experience with Asset Management and/or Investment Banking and knowledge of Investments would be advantageous

Experience working closely with AD architects and Design Authorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills / Ability to run meetings and drive agenda

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
