$17.50 an hour, Newark, DE
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with laboratory experience using various laboratory equipment including HPLC, LC/MS, and UV/fluorescence plate readers. The following skills are required for this position: ability to work independently and with others, basic pipetting skills with single and multichannel pipettes, familiar with 96-well plate formats, use of basic lab equipment such as vortex mixers, balances, hot plates, liquid scintillation counters, wet chemistry experience preparing buffers and performing serial dilutions. Willingness to work with radio isotopes (14C, 3H, 125I). 2-3 years industrial laboratory experience highly preferred.
Qualifications:
With guidance from supervision and within established procedures, conducts routine research laboratory activities, information/data management activities or operates small scale production equipment in support of research and development. Identifies and suggests improvements in methods, plans projects of limited duration and scope, troubleshoots when erroneous or unexpected results occur. Responsible for producing research experimental results, or information/data management results in a timely fashion utilizing a variety of techniques, effectively documenting findings and communicating results.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
