Summary:
Works cross-functionally to lead the Advanced Engineering group that provides; Transfer Support for new products transitioning into Operations; drives the evolution of our Manufacturing Systems to excellence; and leads and directs the Injection Molding and Extrusion technical support function.
Job Details:
Associate is responsible to follow requirements of applicable national and international regulations.
Work cross-functionally and provide the engineering discipline and strategic direction to benchmark and champion the implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) opportunities plant-wide.
Provide the technical direction and business leadership required to plan and leverage our current core competencies in Injection Molding and Extrusion. Prepare, thorough business rationales, to expand our polymer processing operations into new business areas.
Coach and guide the Technical staff to support the introduction of new products and transferred operations into the site manufacturing environment, direct a team of senior technical leaders to work cross-functionally on project teams to provide guidance on best practices in process design and machine procurement.
Drives the use of statistical and six sigma tools to identify and implement root caused solutions.
Provide direction, leadership, and training to engineers, six sigma black belts, and technicians; monitor work schedules and expenditures of project team.
Plan work schedules, expenditures, attend meetings, and prepare monthly reports are required
This position has a wide-range impact on product quality, company profitability, and capacity.
Participates in project performance team meetings on behalf of the job unit in order to provide ideas, methods, or processes for unit/company performance improvement.
Performs other job related duties assigned.
May be responsible for projects which require coordination with other department's personnel for completion.
Candidate Requirements:
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science or related field, Advanced Degree (MS / PhD) preferred
A minimum of 6 - 8 years leading and implementing Mfg process and system improvements is required. Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or other FDA regulated industry, with at least 3 to 5 years' experience of progressive management experience in Engineering Management is required.
Must be able to demonstrate effective leadership skills in inspiring, driving, and executing results through others. Must demonstrate and model effective listening, written and verbal communications, sound logical judgment, and organizational skills, while at the same time creating in others both a sense of urgency and a commitment to excellence.
Experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems is required.
Demonstrated experience implementing or driving the use of SPC in a manufacturing environment is required.
Knowledge of the technologies and processing of fluoropolymers, PVC, thermoplastic elastomers and compounding of thermoplastic materials is a plus.
Thorough knowledge of statistical techniques, DMAIC/six-sigma certification preferred.
Demonstrated excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Experience, training, or certifications in Lean manufacturing techniques is a plus.
Knowledge of GMP/FDA regulations. Thorough knowledge of FDA process validations, including development of protocols and execution of protocols is preferred.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written is required.
Requires strong communications skills to understand and explain complex engineering problems to non-engineering personnel.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
