HC - Scientist
This is a Biochemist 1 position.
Bachelors in Chemistry, Biology or related field are required.
Experience in formulation and manufacturing are strongly recommended.
Additionally, the individual must have a strong technical background, preferably at least 2 years related experience in the field.
Candidate must understand good manufacturing practices, good documentation practices and have an understanding of SOPs/policies.
Also, candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
The candidate must have the ability to lead projects, work on cross functional teams and work independently.
Responsibilities include:
1)Manufacture reagents and calibrators and verifiers.
Operates manufacturing equipment.
2)Drives, executes, and implements compliance initiatives with quality system and regulatory agencies:
FDA, DEA, ISO, OSHA, etc 3)Drives, executes and implements regulatory compliance and quality improvement projects 4)Assists and provides input with product and process development projects 5)Assists, drives and completes validation activities 6)Investigate and perform troubleshooting and root cause determination 7)Collaborates with cross functional teams including Technical Operations, R&D, Planning, etc 8)Follows and operates within all company policies and procedures.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
