Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Software Engineer for development, testing and validation for Clinical Chemistry Analyzers
Responsibilities:
Supports the testing of software for new and commercialized Automated track systems through hands-on instrument operation
Knowledgeable in Waterfall software development cycles
Works with the Validation Team and SW Developers on the development of new Validation and Verification Test plans
Acts as team leader for larger scale Validation projects
Troubleshoots instrument problems to determine the functional area of defect origination
Uses PC tools to plan and record testing and the SW Change Management System
Performs daily QC and Calibrations as required on Lab Instruments
Attends weekly CORE or Submission Review team meetings and presents test progress on assigned projects
Strong technical writing skills are required for test protocol development
