My name is FirstName and I represent The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Newark, DE. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
Medical Technologist with clinical lab experience needed to operate Clinical Chemistry Analyzers in an R&D environment.
Supports the reliability testing of hardware and software for new and commercialized products through hands-on instrument operation.
The med tech will be responsible for running and analyzing daily QC on our system level Run like a Customer (RLC) testing.
Responsibilities:
They will also be responsible for instrument maintenance and supplies.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Works with R&D engineers to understand/discuss instrument test protocols, operate the instrument, run specific tests, log instrument failures in a database and provide inputs to failure review boards.
Troubleshoots instrument problems to determine the functional area of defect origination and calls instrument support group/concerned hardware/software engineer to fix the problem.
Maintains laboratory records and safety.
Must be detailed oriented and basic computer skill necessary.
