Precision's personnel are routinely involved with projects in power plants, refineries, energy plants and industrial facilities from coast to coast. We provide personnel for contract staffing, direct placement positions and managed resource programs.
Precision is currently recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant with a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or a related science in Newark, DE. This is a long-term contract position.
Performs all operations to insure optimal growth of plants.
Harvests research samples insuring integrity of materials.
Follows protocols to insure containment compliance with regulated materials in a greenhouse setting.
Prepares samples for shipping following regulatory compliance and computer entry of shipping records.
Operates hand held devices to collect experimental data.
Writes experimental reports and standard operating procedures.
Examines current protocols and develops experiments to test new procedures.
Ensure safe methods and techniques are used at all times.
Ability to assist technical personnel in general laboratory operations, maintaining laboratory facilities and equipment in accordance with Laboratory standards in order to help ensure the validity and integrity of experimental results.
Associate degree preferred, high school diploma required.
Experience with greenhouse practices is a plus.
Ability to perform physical labor including listing up to 30 lbs.
Currently have or have the ability to obtain Delaware Pesticide Applicator Certificate for pesticide handling.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
