This position is for a QA analyst who will be responsible for testing a 3 tier suite of applications. The applicant would need to be a Self-Starter with extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies, Software development Lifecycle (SDLC), XML and SQL. o Responsible for developing and maintaining test plans, creating reusable test cases, data analysis and creation of test data, conducting peer reviews, perform manual and automated execution of test scripts using ALM, analyze and thoroughly document defects detected during test execution, working with WSDL (Web Services Description Language) and OpenAPI for validation of internal and external vendors, knowledge of Soap UI preferred. o Adhere to the defect tracking process and monitor defects so that they progress in a timely manner. Collecting and reporting test results through various metrics reporting tools and communicating to stakeholders on a regular basis.
Excellent verbal and written skills required.
Work with BA and Development teams to understanding business requirements and technical design and assist with defect resolution.
Skillful with scenario-based analysis and use case driven design techniques.
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work efforts.
Proficiency in creating functional requirements preferred
Proficiency in Visio, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Powerpoint is required
Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with all levels of the organization and geographically distributed teams including offshore.
Detail oriented with strong organization skills, presentation skills, problem solving and decision making abilities
