Overview:
Responsible for using business process engineering techniques to develop technical solutions to achieve overall objectives by integrating systems using the company's or a third-party's hardware/software products. Provides technical support in presentations, demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products to ensure the system is functioning according to specifications. Participates with the customer in the strategic design process to identify additional product/service opportunities. Responsible for the technical correctness and completeness of integrated systems designs. Develops and recommends solution and strategies, based on the analysis of customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing systems infrastructure.
The Specialist Level has the ability to solve a wide range of problems using professional concepts and company policies and procedures in imaginative and practical ways. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Provides significant support in areas such as research and feasibility studies, tradeoff analyses, operation studies, design reviews, and technical briefings.
Responsibilities:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs and implements changes to the customer environment within the constraints of the customer's system.
Prepares proposal requests such as benchmark studies, bid specifications, solution development, work steps, and cost projections.
Writes test strategies, test plans, test cases and test scripts to assess application performance.
Performs proactive systems maintenance and process development. Makes improvements through automation and Scripting where required.
Utilizes ITIL best practices to configure, develop, and test the overall architecture of hardware, software, and networking systems for release upgrades.
Reviews design proposals for technical feasibility and correctness and identifies, analyzes and evaluates alternative design solutions.
Analyzes and evaluates technologies and processes. Recommends solutions and strategies based on the most efficient and cost effective system design to meet the customer's business goals, objectives, and needs.
Assists in technical presentations, evaluating customer capabilities and needs, and collecting data for performing competitive analysis.
Performs physical planning and installs systems and associated updates. Obtains quotes for the installation of cabling, software, hardware, and maintenance.

Qualifications:
Requires 5-7 years of related work experience and Bachelor's degree, technical training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates working on client accounts must possess A
certification. Experience in servicing personal computer hardware and software required with a working knowledge of local and wide area networks, communications and host connectivity. Strong analytical skills and customer service abilities required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
