Description:
This position uniquely sits between the very technical aspects of fine tuning application servers and databases as well as working with the users and the application. Really need someone who has worked with PLSQL and the database using Toad. Individual needs Oracle and needs to be able to work with IT and the business.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
Experience demonstrating skill using various OS/shell commands, editors and file systems in UNIX and Windows. Knowledge of scripting shell commands.
Experience demonstrating skill performing analysis, design, programming and testing in procedural languages (JAVA, C, VC++,etc.).
Experience demonstrating skill analyzing and rewriting programs to increase efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
Knowledge of the Object Oriented paradigm.
Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and utilizing vendor supplied application programming interfaces (API)s.
Knowledge of:
? Web servers (e.g., IIS, Apache, etc.), web server configuration concepts, and Web programming languages (e.g., XML, HTML, JavaScript, Java Servlet Pages (JSP).
? Application-web servers (e.g., Tomcat, JBOSS, Oracle WebLogic etc.) for hosting Servlets for running server generated database-web solutions.
Knowledge of:
? Relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Access DB).
? Data modeling and database tuning concepts (e.g., Hard-Joins, Foreign Keys relationships Referential Integrity validation).
? Oracle?s PLSQL (stored procedures and functions).
Experience demonstrating skill applying network connectivity concepts (TCP/IP networking concepts).
Experience demonstrating skill creating and supporting applications across multi-platform environments.
Experience demonstrating skill using formal IT change control philosophy to administer various tiers of enterprise-level applications (development, stage, production). Includes creating formal change control documentation.
Experience demonstrating skill directing others in development methodologies and the Applications Development Life Cycle.
Experience demonstrating skill recommending and implementing design solutions for technical specifications.
Experience demonstrating skill partnering with clients from project inception to project completion.
Extensive experience demonstrating skill preparing workplans, estimates, and resource utilization.
Experience demonstrating skill training team members in new technology solutions and methodologies.
Experience demonstrating skill using word processing, spreadsheet, project management (e.g., MS Project), and email software to perform work functions.
Ability and willingness to work extended hours or a modified schedule, including being on call on a rotating or emergency basis, working evenings, holidays and weekends, as required.
This position is a NERC Regulated position. As such, a background check will be conducted on the incumbent every seven years. Additionally, the incumbent will be required to complete annual NERC compliance training.
Preferred:
Knowledge of Project Management and Portfolio Management Systems such as Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM), P6 Analytics and Primavera Portfolio Management (PPM) including administrator functions.
Knowledge of the use of the Oracle Support Site for Troubleshooting.
Knowledge of OBIEE
Knowledge of IIS and Oracle WebLogic
Experience using Toad for Oracle
Understanding of engineering, installing, supporting, and integrating Windows applications and peripherals on workstations and servers, with some knowledge of Windows 2007 server operating system and Microsoft environment architecture (for example, Registry and Windows Security).
Knowledge of queuing solutions for creating persistent interfaces across systems.
Knowledge of maintaining application architectures for UNIX and Windows servers.
Knowledge of using the SQL programming language, to include experience with embedding database SQL blocks in procedural languages.
Experience demonstrating skill analyzing and rewriting programs to increase efficiency.
Knowledge of Java?s Virtual Machine, programming language and JDBC.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
