Description
Wholesale Loan Operations (WLO) services several lines of businesses within JPMorgan Chase, including Business Banking, Global Wealth Management, Investment Banking and Commercial Banking. The group consists of approximately 1,300 employees and is responsible for over $500 billion in loans outstanding.
Core Loan Operation is a part of Wholesale Loan Operations and provides global end to end loan origination, servicing, restructuring and trading support. Services are tailored to the needs of the client and Line of Business, ranging from bilateral to large syndicated loan agreements. Services provided include Loan Origination, Deal Closing & Funding, Collateral/Document Review/Doc Workflow Management, Loan Servicing, Trade Confirmations & Settlement, Special Credit Services, and Syndicated/Agent Bank Booking and Servicing. Third Party Review is a new trading support service to be provided by Core Loan Operations.
Third Party Review position entails the following:
Working with the trading desk, clients, counsel and operations to settle par primary and secondary loan trades
Reviewing and understanding LSTA standard documents and other legal documents including Trade Confirms, Assignment Agreements, Proceeds letters, Participation agreements, Cash collateral agreements and Multilateral Agreements
Reviewing and understanding Credit Agreements, specifically assignability language
Ability to manage heavy trade portfolio across all various lines of business, for your assigned client base, while maintain a clean aging profile, with the goal of settlement within the LSTA standard for settlement time
Identify and escalate issues to the front office trading assistants/traders/sales people, in-house legal counsel and management, when necessary
o focus on key economic, language and fee-related disputes

o Working directly with counterparts and internal partners in issue resolution
Monitoring/tracking/reporting of all escalated issues using appropriate workflow tools
Coordinating settlement efforts with various settlement groups throughout the IB
Knowledge of loan booking systems and electronic settlement systems such as LIQ and Clearpar
Working on projects focused around tightening control gaps for daily processes
Creating and understanding metrics reporting for the Par team and Credit trading business
Monthly/weekly/daily reporting to senior management for open trades and trading metrics is required
Must be able to resolve issues on a daily basis
Must have excellent client and communication skills
Detail orientated individual that can multitask efficiently under pressure and in a fast paced environment

BA or BS degree is necessary
Strong PC Skills : in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint
