Department Description:
Risk Reporting is responsible for providing data, reporting and analytics in support of Senior Risk Management and the Board/Risk Committees. There is a critical need to focus on ensuring risk reporting is comprehensive, timely and accurate so that all levels of risk management can use it to understand and manage the business in a timely and effective manner.
This is an associate role with a heavy analytical nature. Additionally, the right candidate must understand and challenge the numbers, and be able to tell the story behind them.
The team interacts heavily with Credit Risk Management, Regulatory Reporting, Finance and Business Management, Middle Office and Technology.
Job
Responsibilities:
Production and delivery of BAU and ad-hoc reports that contribute to the Wholesale Executive Management Report (EMR) as well as Board Level/Risk Committee presentations
Production of the regulatory reports and gathering of relevant sign-offs
Management of deliverables against the operating model and
control
agenda
Manage migration of existing reporting
practices
and tasks to team from NY and London locations
Delivery of both tactical and strategic enhancements to relevant processes and reports
Assist in the development and standardization of Risk Reporting across LOBs (e.g. Corporate and Investment Bank, Commercial Bank, Asset Management, Private Bank)
Management of junior team members
## Qualifications
The ideal candidate possesses the following skills:

3-5 years of related experience

Understanding of risk (loans and derivatives)

Understanding of credit risk reporting
systems
(CRI, SELM, CRRT, Exposure Now)

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Business Objects

Ability to work and solve problems independently, and be able to work in a deadline oriented environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and bring tasks to complete closure

Strong attention to detail, strong organization, analytical and problem solving skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

Experience with process building and re-engineering a plus

Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to listen well and influence others

Good team player who can work well with colleagues of various levels

Self-motivated and comfortable working with large amounts of data

BA/BS degree required
