What we do:
The Corporate Action Specialist (CA) is responsible for notifying clients of corporate
events
initiated by a public or private company that affects the shares issued by the company. The CA Specialist conducts active research using a variety of methods and uses various toolsets to track, document and initiate client notifications and on the security events. The CA Specialist will coordinate the client''s instructions through Service Partners, and process the resulting transactions, in addition to providing excellent customer service on the phone and on-line.

How quickly we do it:
All corporate events have a variety of critical dates which dictates when n event will expire or must be processed. The CA Specialist must be bale to multi-task and focus on multiple events while observing these critical dates to avoid financial risk. Event information must be communicated to clients in an accurate and timely manner within stated service levels.
Core Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret corporate action information for both domestic and global securities.
Provide timely event notification to all clients.
Execute client''s instruction through custodians.
Process all stock, bonds, cash transactions upon receipt
Research all out of balance transactions and process corrections promptly.
Follow up with Client Service Officers and Investors to obtain all outstanding elections prior to event expiration.
Perform proof and general ledger transactions.
Complete all end of day proof process to all Accounting
Respond to internal partners and custodians inquires in a timely and effective manner

## Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years Financial Industry Experience
Minimum 1 year Operations experience with some Securities Experience preferred
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in fast paced team environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Detail and control oriented
Experience using mainframe systems
Flexibility-able to work extended hours when necessary
Excellent time management and organizational skills
General ledger and reconciliation skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to analyze moderate to complex securities related documentation and summarize details
Preferred Experience/Skills
Accounting or Finance background
Securities industry knowledge - a plus
Proficient in Excel and Word
Previous General Ledger experience
College degree or three to five years equivalent work experience
