External Overview:
Lead Food Quality Assurance efforts in Newark plant under the guidance of Plant Quality Manager with respect to FSSC 22000, GFSI, and HAACP initiatives. Lead Food Safety Quality Team. Establish and monitor environmental microbiology throughout the plant. Provide expertise to the microbiology laboratory and perform quality assurance/ batch record review, product release, complaint investigations, waivers, audit support, and customer support
Major areas of Responsibility
Technical/Functional
Lead plant HAACP/GMP program and ISO quality system through internal audits, document control, and driving continuous improvement.
Perform daily quality control testing of in-process and finished product.
Provide assistance to the plant with regard to any microbiological issues. Investigate and make recommendations through the use of records, experimentation and previous experience.
Evaluate plant needs for environmental testing; implement and perform testing;
Review daily quality records to ensure compliance to SOPs;
Ensure lab and plant compliance to cGMP and FDA guidelines;
Write an update SOPs to comply with CFR and USP requirements;
perform training of employees and microbial techniques when necessary ;
Provide technical support to customers for microbiological problems;
Evaluate, approve, and source customer special microbiological testing requirements;
Develop/evaluate new procedures, based on new/current technology and sound science coordinate contract laboratory testing is needed, interpret and communicate results;
initiate and support projects to improve or maintain good laboratory practices and efficiency in the lab;
Support QMS initiatives in Newark quality organization;
Perform administration functions for LIMS system and coordinate entry of micro data into LIMS.

Required Education:
B.S degree in Microbiology required
Qualifications:
Experience
3 or more years experience
Good mathematic skills
Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office
Basic Statistics knowledge preferred
Familiarity with ISO quality systems, GFSI preferred
Familiarity with SAP a plus

Highly organized and self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality requirements and meeting deadlines;
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to function both as a leader and a team player.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate at various levels of the organization, with demonstrated attitude of respect towards others;
Overtime and occasional weekend work as required to complete testing and projects in accordance with business and customer demands.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
