The Senior Systems Analyst of the Portfolio Reporting team will be responsible to oversee, coordinate and drive specific projects within the designated business area to deliver analysis in support the Legal Team in answering requests from Regulatory Agencies and to provide insight into the performance of our existing products/strategies across all loan-servicing platforms. This
is responsible for developing stable, consistent, and efficient data flow, storage and output of the analysis. The incumbent will be responsible for defining requirements, performing analysis and explaining results to
management and external stakeholders. They must be able to work closely with business groups, vendors and lead/coordinate the work of other technical team members.
This resource will provide systems support to executive management through data extraction and analysis. The Senior Systems Analyst will coordinate with the Director of Portfolio Reporting to identify needs through user requirements, create technical design approach/detail documents and develop the solutions required.
This individual will be responsible for developing end to end solutions that require taking a general idea and defining requirements accounting for ambiguity and/or logic gaps. Each step must be thoroughly documented and approved in accordance with the business, compliance and legal guidelines. The incumbent will provide mentoring and cross-training to team members. This individual will be required to present results to senior executive managers.
The success of this position will be measured by the success of this individual's efforts in the quality, timeliness of delivery, and ability to communicate effectively to all impacted groups.

This is a "hands-on" position that requires technical development and participation in all aspects of the development and deployment of projects
Lead weekly progress update calls for time sensitive and/or critical deliverables
Analyze, document, communicate and validate client requirements for projects
Participate in requirements gathering and review meetings with internal and external stakeholders as required
Timely manage the investigation and resolution of production support issues and customer inquiries
Actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency

1. Analysis/Reporting
a. Create databases to efficiently store data identified in requirement gathering
b. Interpret and present key findings to senior management
c. Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
d. Utilize SQL and/or SAS to analyze data and automate a dynamic, repeatable process
e. Format results for end user in various formats, including Excel, Power Point, and SSRS

2. Project Management
a. Develop use cases, flow charts, and narratives to effectively capture and communicate business needs
b. Partner with internal and external clients to define and translate business requirements in accordance with legal and compliance guidelines
c. Able to prioritize multiple tasks, managing conflicting deadlines and work effectively and efficiently in a dynamic environment
d. Lead requirements gathering/technical design and review meetings with internal and external stakeholders
e. Provide means to report weekly progress across all initiatives assigned to the team

3. Technical Improvement
a. Drive best practices for development, documentation, and delivery function
b. Identify opportunities to re-factor code and infrastructure environments to enable greater flexibility, scalability, reliability, and efficiency
c. Provide ongoing support on issues relating to partner testing and use cases, audit and compliance requests, process management, and industry best practices

4. Presentation
a. Able to turn analysis of raw data into executive level presentation
b. Communicate effectively with executive management and external entities
c. Accurately and confidently respond to questions regarding data
d. Appropriately set expectations regarding follow up and next steps
Minimum 5 years business analysis experience in designated business area with overall experience in the financial
and/or student loan industry.
Baceholrs degree or equivalent experience
5 years of SQL or SAS development experience
3+ years of experience partnering with business owners to define and translate needs into business requirements
3+ years of business process and workflow experience
Proven ability to analyze large amount of raw data to identify trends within the data that could be used to define and drive strategies and segmentations
Proven ability to proactively identify opportunities based of his/her analytical insight
Proven ability to present technical findings in a user-friendly, clear, and concise manner to ensure understanding by all parties
Capability of setting direction and motivating team members inside and outside the direct reporting line
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server including SSIS and SSRS
Visual Basic programming skill

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
