JAVA developer to build next generation Integrated Fraud Desktop platform. This is a hands-on development role. Requirements include 5
years of system development experience (preferably in the financial industry), with the focus on building restful
services
for dynamic user facing applications.
- Proficiency with JAVA/J2EE, Object-Oriented Design and Programming (OOD/P)
- Proficiency with Spring (including ORM and MVC)
- Proficiency with at least one ORM/Persistence Framework: iBatis/MyBatis, Hibernate, JPA
- Proficiency with SOA, REST/SOAP Web Services, CXF, JAXWS/JAXRS, JSON, XML
- Experience with at least one RIA Framework: jQuery (preferred), YUI, Ext JS, DOJO
- Experience with front-end web development with JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS, Ajax
- Experience with Source Control: Subversion (SVN), Perforce, or similar
- Experience with Maven, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI), JUnit
- Experience with IDE: Eclipse, RAD, or other
- Experience with at least one RDMS and SQL: Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server
- Experience with Agile/Iterative development and full SDLC development
- Nice to Haves include C# .NET or Python, JMS, MQ messaging, Big Data, Hadoop, NoSQL, Cassandra
Excellent communication skills as will be working with the users as well as other teams.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
