TITLE- EngineerLOCATION- Newark, DE (require someone local)DURATION- 6 months contractINTERVIEW- telephonic and WebEx Background of role Hoping to start March or April-able/willing to be patient but ready to move forward immediately as well Prefer local first, and then would consider travel costs and such if we don t find local talent Open to 4 or 5 day schedule, 4 10 s or 5 8 s Team typically works Mon-Thur but will come in some Fridays for maintenance (flexible and less hours but infrequent) This person wouldn t be doing maintenance so this person could definitely work Mon-Thur if preferred 730-530 core hours Person might need to be somewhat available for meetings off hours Hiring manager manages equipment engineering team Supporting manufacturing Manufacturing fuel cell and electrolyzers Facility takes in water and gas for electricity Put in electrical power and heat (steam) to create pure hydrogen on the outlet side Group supports testing equipment Design and build test equipment in house FIT Pads-functional integration testing pads where they test their final products Increasing capacity of one of their FIT pads Will enable them to become an energy supplier Work with Delmarva but also want to power their facility and other FIT pad Has footprint for the FIT pad upgrade Has another electrical engineer on the team and a PM with the same background-the engineer in place will be a very helpful resource for this person but they need additional help to allow him to work on other projects Needs a project electrical engineer to manage the electrical side of the upgrade Early on will be reviewing current equipment and situation, help come up with a plan Plan on 1 year, will try for 40 hours a week and can find other items to help with if some weeks are lighter than 40 for the project They use DraftSight and SolidWorks What they re seeking 5
years experience Electrical Engineer with Power Systems knowledge Switchgear/switching devices knowledge Facility systems knowledge Help finalize speccing out switch gear Design and help build their electrical requirements Construction companies they ll bid the job out to so this person will help develop that bid for construction companies Spec out switch gear-40-60 weeks alone for that work At least CAD experience, Solidworks is a plus (They use SolidWorks and DraftSight which is very similar to CAD) At least able to design a schematic They ll provide laptop-if they prefer to use their own AutoCAD, that s fine Bid experience a plus but not mandatory-they have tools to help with that PM experience a plus as well Recommended Skills Auto Cad Cad Construction Electrical Installation Work Electrical Switchgear Maintenance Apply to this job. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
