This full service-employed practice provides clinical patient care and administrative oversight in the intensive care units and respiratory care department, in addition to leadership of systemwide rescue operations. The intensivists provide direct patient care oversight in three ICU's in a closed model of care, as well as consultative support in the Cardiac ICU. Dedicated ICU mid-level providers in addition to medical house-staff support the intensivists. The team balances high acuity and patient complexity, educational involvement, and opportunities to engage in clinical research and extensive performance improvement initiatives. Job Requirements BC/BE in Critical Care. Interested in clinical critical care medicine as well as teaching opportunities with medical students and residents. Additional interest/experience in performance and quality improvement work is beneficial. The Medical Critical Care Department is a collegial group of 11 intensivists, 20 APC's, residents, fellows, and medical students.
