Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide data architecture strategy aligned with business goals and objectives. Design, implement, and optimize data models, data integration processes, and data pipelines to support various business functions and analytical requirements. Define data standards, policies, and best practices to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide strategic guidance on data-related initiatives. Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and tools to enhance data management capabilities and drive innovation. Lead and mentor junior members of the data architecture team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Collaborate with IT infrastructure and security teams to ensure the scalability, performance, and security of data systems and platforms. Provide technical leadership and guidance in resolving complex data-related issues and challenges.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 15
years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design. Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing enterprise-scale data architectures in complex environments. Expertise in data modeling techniques, including conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling. Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). Strong understanding of data integration technologies, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Proficiency in data governance, data quality management, and metadata management principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Experience in cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is highly desirable. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
